Connecticut's own Chris Shays thinks Sarah Palin is "awesome"...his words, I swear!

Created by: Jillian
Check out Chris Shays on MSNBC.

"It's a woman who should be selected, not a particular type of woman."
Really Congressman...is that how elections should work?

Lets take a moment to have fun with Shays statement...
"It's a man who should be selected, not a particular type of man."

Hmmm...I don't know anyone who would agree with that statement--it would be deemed sexist, wouldn't it? So why is it so acceptable to declare that being a woman is what should get us elected and not our experiences, credentials, platform, etc.

Thanks for lumping all of us women together there, Congressman!

This clip is outrageous. I have never watched anyone contradict himself more in one 5 minute segment in my life. Not only did he end it with this completely sexist remark, he starts by completely supporting Palin despite his often Pro-Choice tendencies. Then he shows his add that depicts him as a man of both parties, basically "piggy-backing" both Obama and McCain. Quite obviously he is not sympathetic to both in the spotlight, because in addition to his Pro-Choice slash, he then goes against Obama. He attempts to say that Obama has not been attacked for his "lack of experience" even though that is all they have said about him for the past year. It has become obvious to me today that Congressman Shays is by no means who he says he is.
